Badilag to hold English discussion on law and justice

To implement its serious intent in maintaining and fostering the quality of human resources of Religious Courts, Dirgen Badilag (Directorate General of Religious Courts Body) will conduct an English discussion on law, justice and Religious Court development next Tuesday, September 29, 2009.
The idea of such a program originally comes from the Director General of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, who several days before iedul fitri break told his assistant to create a program aimed to accommodate those interested in improving their English and knowledge of law and Religious Court development.
.“Why not make an English discussion program? Like Coffee morning, English Meeting Club, or else. We need such programs to enhance the quality of our human resources in addition to accommodating those interested in English,” Wahyu said.
“Make this program regularly,” he added.
The voluntary program has then been named ‘English Meeting Club’ and will be conducted next Tuesday at Badilag’s office 4th floor, Jl. Pegangsaan No. 30, Central Jakarta. Badilag is also inviting participants from around greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) and Banten to come to the meeting. But, due to effectiveness, the number of participants is limited.
Director General for Religious Courts Body will be the keynote speaker of the discussion. He will be speaking about Religious Court’s position in Indonesian legal system and its challenges under one-roof system. The Tuesday’s discussion commences from 11 am until 2 pm. (cho)
