The Supreme Court Training Center has set to develop three main pillars of good human resources which must be possessed by all judge candidates after following the training. The three pillars are personality, integrity and capability.

Judge candidates are the asset of the Supreme Court. “On their shoulders lies the future of the Indonesian judiciary,’ Chief Justice Harifin A. Tumpa said recently (4/5) after officially opening the fifth judge candidate training in the training center, Bogor West Java.

.

The Supreme Court regularly holds a mandatory training for judge candidates at the Court training center. All judge candidates from three jurisdictions (General, Religious, and Administrative Courts) must pass the training before appointed as a judge.

The training center employs a method in which discussion takes 70 % of the portion and the rest 30 % are lectures. In the training, judge candidates are also facilitated to have hearing simulations besides ESQ (Emotional and Spiritual Quotients) materials.

The fifth training which was opened by the Chief Justice will last for three months, from 3 May to 1 August 2010 and is followed by 263 judge candidates from the three jurisdictions.
