Library of the Indonesia’s Supreme Court begins to include Westlaw Journal, an international online law journal, as one of its sources as the library socialized the availability of the Journal on Thursday, 24 June 2010 in Jakarta.
Online Sales Manager Sweet & Maxwell Asia, Eric Pereira, as quoted by mahkamahagung.go.id, said Westlaw Journal enabled law practitioners, academicians and university students to find and learn cases and articles from 875 law journals worldwide. In addition, numerous documents from world’s law libraries along with the news can also be accessed online through this journal.
A number of Indonesian institutions have subscribed Westlaw journal, such as MK (Constitutional Court), KPPU (Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition), University of Indonesia, Padjajaran University, North Sumatra University, Pelita Harapan University, Trisakti University, and Atmajaya University.
