Supreme Court Training Center Gets Accreditation

The Indonesia’s Supreme Court Training Center has been accredited by the National Institute of Administration (LAN/Lembaga Administrasi Negara). LAN on 3 August 2010 decided that the Court’s Training Center has fulfilled and met the national standards for training and education. The Certificate of Accreditation was handed over to the Chief Justice, Harifin A. Tumpa, on Monday 9 August 2010.

Chief Justice, Harifin A. Tumpa admitted he was proud of the accreditation. “This Certificate of Accreditation can be made as a trigger for the Supreme Court to provide better and more progressive officers in the near future. We need professional and competent human resources to implement a great judiciary,” Chief Justice said, hoping the training center could obtain International accreditation.

Tin Zuraida , Head of Management and Leadership Training Center, said the training center had undertaken a number of processes and stages before the accreditation was obtained. The training center, she said, is now accredited to carry out pre office training for golongan (rank) I, II, and III as well as leadership training for stage III and IV.

Chairman of the National Institute of Administration, Asmawi Rewansyah, congratulated the training center on the accreditation. He hoped the training center could maintain and improve its quality of learning. He reminded that the certification would not be valid permanently because it would be observed and evaluated regularly. (c)
