Vice Chief Justice Inaugurates New Office Building of PTA Jayapura

Vice Chief Justice for Non Judicial Matters, the Hon. H. Ahmad Kamil, installed the new office building of Religious High Court (PTA/Pengadilan Tinggi Agama) Jayapura on Wednesday (24/11). The court previously was situated on Jalan Kotaraja No. 42, a site that is always flooded in the rainy season.

According to Chief Judge of PTA Jayapura, H. Abdurrahman HAR, the construction of the office building was started from 2008 and went through three stages. The two-story building is now located on Jalan Kutaraja No. 103 with a total building area of 1800 M2. .

The inauguration of the new building was also attended by Vice Governor of Papua, Alex Hasege m, Head of General Bureau of the Supreme Court, government officials, and judges as well as court officers across Papua and West Papua.

Vice Chief Justice hoped this new building can improve the public services of PTA Jayapura in order to help justice seekers resolve their legal problems. He also said that the office should be maintained wisely since it was built from public money.
