Directorate General of Religious Courts pays serious attention to the progressive actions taken by Religious Courts across Indonesia in improving public services through courts’ websites.

“We relentlessly monitor the developments of the IT usage at every court all over Indonesia, including courts at the great region of Banyumas. In fact, we have just carried out an assessment over websites of Religious Courts here. And the results are quite satisfying,” said DG of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, at a meeting in Banyumas (7/1/2011).

.

Last week a team at Badilag re-assessed the websites at the great region of Banyumas that includes PA (Religious Court) Purwokerto, Pa Banyumas, PA Banjarnegara, PA Purbalingga and PA Cilacap. Badilag uses parameters set up by NLRP (National Legal Reform Program), a national NGO, for assessing Indonesia’s legal institutions’ websites.

Furthermore, Director General hope other Religious Courts in Central Java to follow the achievement of the aforementioned courts. “Because the national average score for Religious Courts websites set by NLRP is 11.1 points, whereas the average score at Central Java is 9.1 points,” Wahyu said.
