Badilag (Directorate General for Religious Courts) is focusing its working programs on implementing ‘Justice for All’ and bureaucracy reforms. ‘Justice for All’ programs are aimed to provide greater access to justice for the poor through religious courts across Indonesia. The programs are technically implemented through prodeo facility, circuit court and legal aid post.
The Badilag’s 2011 focus was clearly stated by Director General (DG) of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, before all Badilag’s officials at a meeting on Wednesday (12/1/2011). Wahyu asks all Badilag’s officials and staff as well as judicial officers of religious courts all over the country to actively take part in succeeding the programs.
As for bureaucracy reforms, Badilag will intensify more on supervision while at the same time continuously publishing results of the supervision through the website, including publication of data on judicial officers subject to disciplinary punishment. (c)
