Badilag.net: More Contents, More Visitors

The official website of Directorate General of Religious Courts, www.badilag.net, has gained much more attention from Indonesian public, especially religious courts community. The number of visitors of the website which was established in 2006 shows a significant increase.
During 2010, badilag.net was approximately clicked 15,750 times per day. While in 2009 the website was hit 10,800 times per day. “Thus, the number of visitors of the website went up more than 50 % from 2009 to 2010,” said Hirpan Hilmi, Head Sub Division of Information and Documentation.
Badilag.net publishes two kinds of content: dynamic and static. News, articles, and announcements are dynamic contents while the rest is static. Badilag.net always updates both dynamic and static contents. But the first is updated much more frequently than the latter.
As for the news, badilag.net separates into news around badilag and news around religious courts. IT team at Badilag makes the news around badilag, while news around religious courts are made and sent by religious courts and high religious courts across Indonesia.
During 2010, badilag.net published 264 news around badilag, more than those of 2009 which was only 155 news.
Religious courts officers all over Indonesia also often give comments to the news published on badilag.net. In 2010, badilag.net received a total of 13,697 comments which means 1141 comments per month or 38 comments per day.
“The number of comments in 2010 increased three times compared to 2009. We only received 4,186 comments in 2009,” Hirpan Hilmi said. (c)
