DG of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana, asked religious courts’ leadership to coordinate with relevant parties in implementing ‘Justice for All’ programs. The coordination is needed to bring the programs such as prodeo facility, circuit court and legal aid post in to the success ones.
DG conveyed the statements before around 120 participants taking part in an orientation program for judicial officers of religious courts throughout Banten Province last Friday (11/2) at Anyer, Banten. .
“Don’t let the people unaware of these programs,” Wahyu said, adding that the 2011 budget for those programs is much greater than in 2010.
DG Wahyu Widiana further explained that each religious court has budget for prodeo cases although the amount of the budget differs from one religious court to another.
“The amount of the budget is based on the reports of prodeo cases handling in previous years,” he said.
“Therefore, (we need to) coordinate with relevant parties and authorities such as local government and NGOs to use the budget effectively,” he concluded. (c)
