Badilag’s 2011 Working Meeting

Badilag held working meeting in Bandung, West Java for thee days from 2 – 4 March 2011. Led by Director General Wahyu Widiana, the meeting was attended by all officials of echelon II, III and IV of the Secretariat and the three Directorates at Badilag.

"Through this meeting we (will) discuss our performance indicators during 2011," said Director General when opening the event on Wednesday night (2/3).

Director General warned that the performance indicators organized by Badilag should be adjusted with basic tasks of the Directorate General i.e. managing and developing religious courts both at the first instance and appellate courts. .

The 2011 key performance indicators of Badilag that have been approved by National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) are three. First, the increase in case disposal. Second, the better administrative case settlement. And third, the provision of legal aid to the poor.

"So, the indicator is the success of the main tasks in 29 PTAs (High Religious Courts) and 343 Pas (Religious Courts)," Wahyu said.

Therefore, Wahyu added, the activities undertaken by Badilag will focus on supporting the achievement of all performance indicators. (c)
