North Jakarta Religious Court, an Impressive Court

After sharing his experiences at the Badilag’s English Meeting Club, Markus Zimmer visited North Jakarta Religious Court. This Advisory Council Chair of IACA wanted to directly see how a religious court handles cases and provides public services.
Accompanied by Achmad Cholil, a religious court judge, Zimmer was welcomed by Chief Judge of North Jakarta Religious Court, H. Busra, along with his staff.
Zimmer was very enthusiastic listening to the presentation on circuit court given by the Chief Judge. Zimmer was curious of the mobilization of the circuit court, the locations, the time, the judges that handle, the cost needed, and so on. .North Jakarta Religious Court in fact regularly conduct circuit court in addition to providing prodeo facility and legal aid post at court.
Another thing that attracted Zimmer was the case administration. Prior to his arrival at the court, Zimmer was aware that the North Jakarta Religious Court, just like any other religious court in Indonesia, had applied a case management system which is called SIADPA. He attentively followed the presentation of the system given by the court’s Vice Chief Judge.
Zimmer also closely saw the information desk, one-stop service system, court rooms, mediation room and legal aid post.
