The Indonesian Chief Justice, Harifin A Tumpa, opens the National Working Meeting, Monday (19/9).
It’s a great Meeting that is attended by around 1739 participants consisting of justices, chiefs of judge from the first level court and from the appeal courts, officials of the echelon I and II. All registrars from all courts are also attending the Meeting.
This Meeting will be held from 19 to 22 of September at the Mercure Hotel, Ancol. It takes a theme “to improve the role of the High Courts as the front guard of the Supreme Court”.
.According to the Chief Justice, this Meeting looks very different than some previous meetings.
“I see that there is great changes and urgent progress achieved by the Supreme Court”, he said.
He indicates that some progress made do not emerge from justices only but also from all courts at the first level.

Widayatno Sastrohardjono who has responsibility to the Meeting, also states that it’s really different than previous meetings. According to him, the utilization of the Information Technology is very salient in this Meeting.
In addition, this Meeting is attended by huge numbers of participants.
“The usage of IT is hoped to enhance the performance of work in all courts”, he said.
