The Director General’s visit to Cianjur RC was without prior notification. And at the time Chief Justice of Cianjur RC, Dudung Abdul Halim was at the lobby room with his staffs. Then The DG was hailed and directed to the Information Desk, where two officers had been on duty.

After filling the guest book offered by the officer, the DG was given a guest badge which is usually given to the non-litigant guests. The DG then made a dialogue with the officers. The officers, who consist of a handsome man and a beautiful girl, well dresses and friendly, replied the DG’s questions.

“Here we have a computer connected to the SIADPA.” The officer said, while assuring that even the cases’s information can be provided at the Information Desk.

“This is what we want.” The DG told badilag.net.

After talking to the information desk officers, the DG then visited the legal aid post (Posbakum). This is the one that attracted the DG’s attention.

There were three officers of legal aid post on duty and were able to meet and made a dialogue with the DG. They were Elis Rahayu representing a Legal Aid Institute under the management of Cianjur Community Development, Asep Anwar and Tavip Herawan representing PERADI. Three other officers, one representing a Legal Aid Institute of STAIS Al-Azhari and two representing KAI, were on duty on other days.

“From March to September, there were 371 litigants who use this legal aid post. They consulted an average of between 2-3 times to us.” Ellis explained. “We serve for 6 hours a day, whereas on the MoU we only serve for 3 hours a day.” She explained more.

"We are pleased and proud to provide services to people who can not afford, even if the services exceed the hours specified in the MoU." Asep Anwar said.
