Jakarta Religious High Court Launched 16 IT-based Flagship Services

Jakarta Religious High Court (PTA) optimizes Information Technology usage by launching 16 leading IT-based services. High Chief Judge, Khalilurrahman, inaugurated the excellent 16 services on Thursday (03/11/2011) as he also confirmed the Communications and Consultation Media of Religious Courts Administrator (Mekkadilaga).
"Our goal is to improve services to the community, particularly the justice seekers," said Khalilurrahman, in front of high judges, staff of PTA Jakarta, and the entire chief judges of Jakarta Religious Courts.
The 16 leading services are the official website with the domain (go.id), an online case information system, information desk, case information touch screen, case information barcode, TV media center, queue device, SMS case center, SMS complaint center, online complaint, online consultation, hotspot area, closed circuit television (CCTV), automatic telephone answering machines, digital case files, and teleconference.
.Khalilurrahman expressed those leading services would not be realized without the support and hard work of all parties, especially IT team of both High Religious Court and Religious Courts of Jakarta incorporated in Mekkadilaga.
"We greatly appreciate our friends from IT team for their outstanding work. Thanks for your sacrifice and commitment," he said.
To support the implementation of these programs, the High Chief Judge of PTA-Jakarta issued a Decree Number W9-A/2047/OT.01.3/X/2011 on Public Service Leading Programs in Jakarta High Religious Court Environment.
As mentioned in the decree that these flagship programs should be implemented in all work units under Jakarta High Religious Court. Each Religious Court Chief Judge should report the optimization of these excellent programs to the High Chief Judge. These excellent programs will be developed in line with the development of legal services.
Mekkadilaga Chairman, Tohir, admitted that 16 eminent services are not fully implemented yet. Some of them are still in the planning and development, such as teleconference or long distance communication.
However, this achievement has attracted a high praise from Egi Sutjiati, consultant and technical assistant in the Supreme Court. She considers that Jakarta High Religious Court has created a remarkable progress in terms of IT-based public service. She emphasizes on the critical role of IT team concerning the development of excellent services.
“Utilizing IT through these leading services will decrease face to face case management procedure, something that really crucial to overcome corruption and abuse of power,” said Egi.
Furthermore, Egi acknowledges that she has no more word to say regarding the innovation made by Mekkadilaga team.
“This is really excellent,” she said closing her remark.
