Badilag Plans to Celebrate 130 Years of the Religious Court Anniversary

The Directorate General of the Religious Courts (Badilag) is planning to celebrate 130 years of the Religious Court anniversary. The celebration will be held at the end of June 2012.
Some important events will be also conducted during the celebration including tennis tournament, national seminar, awarding, book launching, etc.
According to the Director General of the Religious Courts, Wahyu Widiana, this celebration is urgently important. One main reason is to let people know about the recent development and achievement made by the Religious Courts.
“We have to hold the celebration in order to inform public on what we have achieved,” he said.
Wahyu Widiana also said that the celebration would be very beneficial to encourage all apparatus of the Religious Courts to enhance their performance of work in the future.
“We want all stakeholders such as practitioners of Shari banking, NGOs, academician and others being well informed with our recent progresses,” he said.
Some books which will be launched in the celebration are the book of 130 Years of the Religious Courts, of the Prominent Figures of the Religious Courts, of the International Cooperation, etc.
Badilag will plan to publish a quarterly magazine. It will inform public on some salient programs and achievements.
