To enhance the role of high judges, Badilag held a technical training in Tanggerang (29/2/2012). This training involved some vice chiefs of the High Religious Court and high judges.
Badilag realized that there were still some different opinions emerging from high judges during supervision they conducted. The different opinion would make judges at first instance court confused on how to implement the result of supervision.
It has been well known that other main task of high judges is to supervise and to develop professionalism of judges at the first instance court.
. Judges of first instance court often got different direction when they were supervised by different high judges. It was due to opinion which was very different.Purwosusilo, the Director of the technical personnel development said that the main purpose of the training was to create the standard guidance of which could be used by all high judges.
Badilag planned to conduct at least four training for high judges. Some training would be addressed to judges at the High Religious Courts instead of the first instance court.
The issue on the role of high judges in supervision and development was discussed in the National Working Meeting held by the Supreme Court in last September.
