Being a speaker at the second day of the Case Information Management System Summit, Wahyu Widiana, the Director General of Religious Court declared a shocking statement that the judges who do not have commitment to the implementation of information technology are not suitable to be the court leaders.
He stated that in the fit and proper test to be the leaders of specific class I religious courts, the participants have a test on information and technology.
“I myself test them. Our assessment is not towards their competence in information technology, but to their commitment. And that is more important.” The Director General insisted.
“Even the courts have qualified staffs, without the care and commitment of the leaders, information and technology would not be implemented well. And the shortage of fund would not be a big matter.” He stated..
The commitment must not only be performed by the leaders, the judges and the staff should also have a good commitment. “They must be empowered to perform such commitment.” The Director General added.
In this occasion, the Director General also revealed the details of SIADPA, from the history, functions, problem and solution. At the same time the participants got the brochure of SIADPA.
The Director General specifically expressed his concern to the various communities and groups established by the religious court apparatus to discuss any kinds of SIADPA problems.
“They are incredible. They work passionately, motivated by their belonging to what they are doing.” The Director General said.
He also promoted the SIADPA laboratory. “We have launched the SIADPA laboratory recently. Markus Zimmer of IACA and David Anderson of C4J have visited the venue.”He added.
At the end of his presentation, through a picture compilation the Director General revealed the feature of public service and information disclosure at the religious court, ranging from information desk services, queue machine, legal aid post, to the care of the people with disabilities.
