On 2013, the government has allocated IDR 5.3 trillion as a total budget for the Supreme Court and all its sub-judiciary boards. In comparison to the last year budget, the amount has slightly increased.
Deputy Minister of Finance, Ani Ratnawati, in the Annual Meeting of the Supreme Court in Manado, Monday (29/10/2012), said that the budget has been approved by the Government and Parliament last week.
.Ani informed that she also noted budget absorption of the Supreme Court till October 2012. So far, as she figured out, the Supreme Court counted the third top rank in terms of budget expense after National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) and Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
“However, regarding capital expenditure, the Supreme Court is similar with other departments. We really want to encourage the Supreme Court to quickly run the capital expenditure as long as the quality of the expense better. On the contrary, we discourage the accumulation of expenditure in the end of year,” said Ani.
Last year, IDR 5.057 trillion for the Supreme Court has been allocated to operational personnel expenditure (salary expenditure) IDR 3.138 trillion, goods expenditure IDR 981.441 billion and capital expenditure IDR 937.274 billion.
