Supreme Court Wants to Establish 52 New RC

The Supreme Court wants to establish new courts in areas which are experiencing expansion.
The Supreme Court Secretary Nurhadi said, the courts will be established by SC includes courts of first instance and appeal.
"Insya Allah, in the areas of expansion, we will establish 82 courts of first instance and 10 courts of appeals," said Secretary of the Supreme Court, when giving a briefing on Badilag coordination meeting in Bandung, Friday (29/01/2016).
Most of the 92 courts to be set up, according to the Secretary MA, are the courts of the religious courts.
"Yes, including religious courts. There are 52 RC that will be established," he said.
Establishment of new courts are necessary in order to achieve justice and equal opportunity in legal services to the people in order to achieve the settlement in a very simple, fast and inexpensive.

Still lacking
In Religious Courts, there are currently 388 courts consisting of 29 appellate courts and 359 courts of first instance.
Meanwhile, in Indonesia at this time there are 34 provinces and 514 districts / cities.
Thus, compared to the number of provinces and districts / cities throughout Indonesia, the number of the appellate court and the court of first instance in religious courts are still lacking quite a lot.
