Some High Religious Courts immediately start to hold the assessment toward the Religious Courts (RC) under their jurisdictions. They are HRC of Samarinda, HRC of Banjarmasin, HRC of Padang, HRC of Bandarlampung, and HRC of Pekanbaru.
They aimed to comply with the Circular Letter of the Director of Badilag no. 2510/DjA.1/HK.00/VIII/2011. It is about the assessment of public service and information desk implemented in all Religious Court.
The Director General of the Religious Courts, Wahyu Widiana conveys his deep appreciation to the High Religious Courts which have shown their great commitment for the future improvement.
.In a couple of weeks ago, the Directorate General of the Religious Courts (Badilag) delivered an important announcement in which it would assess the implementation of public service and the information desk as well in all Religious Courts.
The assessment will consist of two main phases. The first will be conducted by all High Religious Courts which assess all Religious Courts under their jurisdiction. It will take place on August until September 2011. And the second will be conducted by Badilag which start October until November 2011.
According to Wahyu Widiana, the main purpose of this assessment is to motivate all Religious Courts throughout Indonesia in bringing about some prioritized programs of reform.
In July 2011, Badilag itself issued the Decree Letter no. 0017/Dj.A/VII/2011 on guidance for the implementation of the Information Desk. The assessment will refer to this guidance.
Wahyu Widiana realizes that most of all Religious Courts face some big obstacles regarding availability of human resources and infra-structure as well. Therefore, he permits the chiefs of the Religious Court to take a specific policy for the implementation of the Information Desk as long as it will not contradict with other prevailing regulations.
