Director General of Badilag Visited the General Court

In his working visit to Lampung, Director General of Badilag, Wahyu Widiana also spent his time to visit Liwa General Court on Wednesday (1/18/2012). Wahyu Widiana, who was accompanied by the Chief of Bandar Lampung High Religious Court, his deputy and the Chief of Krui Religious Court, was welcomed by the Chief of Liwa General Court, Eman Saeman.

About 15 minutes, Wahyu Widiana took the time to look around and talked with the Chief of Liwa General Court and his staff. The Director General asked various things, from the number of cases to the implementation of information technology such as SMPP (Sistem Manajemen Perkara Peradilan-Management System of Court’s Cases). SMPP is similar to SIADPA as applied in the religious courts.

During 2011, articles published on badilag.net recorded as much as 310, increased sharply to nearly 400 percent from the same period in 2010, which amounted to only 79 articles.

Approximately 2.200 judicial staffs of religious court
will be transfered this year

Directorate General of Badilag will transfer about 2.200 judicial staffs of religious  court in 2012. They are included judges, court leaders and secretariat officials either at the first instance courts or the appellate ones.

"In order to refresh and to fill the vacant position we will conduct the promotion and transfer of approximately 2.200 judicial staffs this year and will be divided into three stages." The Director of the Development of Religious Courts’s Judicial Staffs, Drs. H.Purwosusilo, SH., MH. told the badilag.net editor in his office on Tuesday afternoon (17/01).

But he did not elaborate further how many judges and secretariat officials that will be transferred this year.

To avoid the case that the judicial staffs who have been long time working in one working unit without being transfered, Purwosusilo asked them to check their respective data at the Online SIMPEG (Personnel Management Information System). That is because there are still many technical staffs that have not been completed their data, such as the rank / final grade, the latest position and so forth.

"We asked our friends in the regions to check their respective data at the Online SIMPEG." He explained. “We will also conduct the consultations to the regions to coordinate with high religious court leaders to discuss the plans for promotion and transfer.” He added.

Wahyu Widiana Revealed His Secret

One interesting question which arose in the Discussion Forum of Leadership of the Attorney General Personnel Division was on how to award personnel. The Director General of the Religious Courts, Wahyu Widiana answered that leaderships could pay their great attention to their personnel.

“Remuneration provided by the state is in fact very important to award our personnel. But, it is not enough,” Wahyu Widiana answered a question of Mrs. Aryani when he delivered his speech on “how to improve organization performance through award and incentive”, at Attorney General’s office, Wednesday (11/1/2012).

According to Wahyu Widiana, leaderships need to give immaterial attention to their personnel. It will be very beneficial to encourage them in improving their performance of work.

The Chief Justice Inaugurated 26 New Courts’ Building

The Chief Justice of the Indonesia Supreme Court, the Hon. Harifin A Tumpa inaugurated 35 new court buildings, Wednesday (11/1/2012), at the General Court of West Jakarta. Among inaugurated courts were 26 Religious Courts.

The new Religious Courts are RC of Binjai, RC of Solok, RC of Pangkalan Kerinci, RC of Selat Panjang, RC of Tanjung Balai Karimun, RC of Sungai Liat, RC of Lubuk Linggau, RC of PA Kuala Tungkal (PTA Jambi), RC of Rangkas Bitung, RC of  Sumber, RC of Tasikmalaya, RC of Purwokerto, RC of Purbalingga, RC of Blora, RC of Brebes, RC of Purworejo, RC of Wonosari, RC of Magetan, RC of Pacitan, RC of Sumenep, RC of Mempawah, RC of Ketapang, RC of Tarakan, RC of Bontang, RC of Kuala Kapuas, and RC of Karangasem.

According to the Secretary of the Supreme Court, Nurhadi, this inauguration is accordance with the Blue Print of the Supreme Court 2012-2035 in which has been stated in annual work plan.
