In 2012, Badilag published approximately 313 articles in which were mostly written by apparatus of the Religious Courts across the country. Meanwhile, there were 310 articles published during 2011

Most authors of articles used the standards of scientific writing and some others used popular style. The articles commonly discussed on law and court.

Abd. As'ad Rashid wrote more articles than other authors. Even he succeeded in making new record for the most articles. In 2011 he wrote 12 articles and in 2012 he wrote 28 articles.

During 2012, Badilag.net published 3690 news. 463 of them were displayed on menu of Seputar Ditjen and 3227 were displayed on menu of Seputar Peradilan Agama. The most interesting news for readers was on welfare improvement for court apparatus.

The Religious Courts Are on the Top in Uploading Verdicts

The Religious Courts are still on the top rank in the publication of verdicts. It is a very proud achievement.

There has been a significant increase in uploading verdicts on website compared to previous year. According to Suroso Ono, who is Registrar of the Supreme Court, the total verdict uploaded in 2011 was 382,137. It consisted of uploaded verdicts from all courts including the Supreme Court. There were 282,880 uploaded verdicts from the Religious Courts, 42,596 from the Supreme Court, 38,427 from the General Courts, 4,866 from the Military Courts and 2,720 from the Administrative Courts.

Suroso Ono said that there has been increase to 91.61 % verdicts uploaded compared 2011 which were 122,633 verdicts. The average number of uploaded verdicts during 2012 was 19,535.

The Religious Courts from East Java are still very dominant in uploading verdicts. These courts had succeeded in uploading 173,643 verdicts which reached more than 50 % of the total verdicts.

Badilag Urges all Religious Courts to Update Case Information Data

 

 

This figure shows important data on case information from all religious courts.

The Directorate General of the Religious Courts (Badilag) urges all Religious Courts to continuously upload and update case information to www.infoperkara.badilag.net. After conducting a brief monitoring, the Directorate found that there were a lot of courts did not upload their case information data.

Case information data is extracted from an application of case management called SIADPA Plus. It provides detailed information on every case submitted to the courts. People are allowed to access data they need.

Irwansyah who is one officer in charge in implementation of this program said that it is worth in providing wide access to courts for people.

According to Tohir, who is one officer conducting the monitoring, the availability of updated case information is urgently needed by people; therefore all courts have to pay more attention to this matter.

Chief Justice Inaugurates Twelve Chief Judges of the Court of Appeal

Chief Justice, Dr. H.M. Hatta Ali inaugurates and takes the oath of twelve chief judges of the appeal courts in the Supreme Court, on Thursday (27/12). The inauguration took places at Kusumaatmadja Room.

The twelve chief judges consist of seven chief judges from High Court, two chief judges from High Religious Courts and three chief judges from Military Court of Appeal.

I Gede Sumitra, SH., MH is appointed as the chief judge of the High Court of Denpasar. H. Sumantri, SH., MH is appointed as the chief judge of High Court of Banda Aceh and HM Mas'ud Halim, SH., M. Hum is appointed as the chief judge of High Court of Banten.
