Jakarta, Humas Rakernas |13-09-2011|
Chairman of Organizing Committee of the Supreme Court’s National Working Meeting 2011, Wahyu Widiana asserts that printed papers will not be provided for all participants. According to him, this Meeting will be completely different than previous one. It is astutely designed to be paperless.
The new design of the Meeting was decided and agreed by the Deputy Chief Justice for the Development, Widayatno Sastro Hardjono, SH, MSc.
It has been announced since 19th of July and 26th of August, that the Meeting will be held in September 18-22, 2011.
“The committee just will provide a Guidance Book only for all participants”, Wahyu Widiana said.
He explains that all papers and other documents have been published in the official website of the National Working Meeting since three months ago. Therefore, all participants could download them since now from their own offices.
Due to printed papers will not be available in the Meeting, all participants are suggested to print them out and bring them to the Meeting.
“They could also store all electronic versions of papers in their laptop or iPad”, Wahyu Widiana said.
Albeit the Meeting is an inclusive program of the Supreme Court, all people can take advantages from the website publishing any paper and document related to the Meeting. All electronic versions of paper are accessible by anyone.
In fact, the new trend of the Meeting is aimed to maximize the usage of Information Technology (IT) in performing the courts’ main tasks. It is important to note that IT plays an important role to enhance and accelerate work performance.
“The usage of IT is one of quick wins in the Bureaucracy Reform of the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court is very committed to support it”, he said.
Meanwhile, Dr. H. Supandi, SH, M.Hum, a justice appointed as the Chairman of the Steering Committee stated in many occasions that the significant mark of change is a system change, from hard-copy toward soft-copy.
