Hisab Rukyat (Islamic astronomy) almost becomes a rare skill among judges in the Religious Courts. According to the Director for Religious Case Administration, Hidayatullah MS, it is due to lack of interest of judges to master this skill.

This tend emerged since the Supreme Court adopted one roof system in 2004. The Religious Courts have a limited jurisdiction only in determining a new moon for Ramadhan.

Hidayatullah MS was worried that this situation would weaken the prestigious of the Religious Courts. He hoped that all judges had this skill in enhancing their work performance.

Beware of the fake facebook account in the name of Supreme Court Secretary

Are you a user of social network called Facebook and a friend of Nurhadi Hadi facebook account? If the answer were ‘yes’, so you may be careful for this most recently significant warning from the Supreme Court Secretary, Nurhadi.

‘This account is a fake, it doesn’t belong to me and i don’t run it, not on behalf of Supreme Court Secretary nor me myself personally’ Nurhadi wrote his statement on a letter dated 3 April 2012. Through this letter,  he also asked to all chief of courts to forward his message to every subordinates because he found that this account has been used for deception criminal means.

Meanwhile, based on the badilag.net review, this fake account has established by the middle of January 2012 and it has 340 friends up to now. The establisher of this account stated that he’s an Indonesia Supreme Court Secretary, lived in Jakarta, originally came from Jember n born on March 13rd, and in order to ensure that this account is not a fake, he set the photograph of ‘real’ Nurhadi as its profile picture.

Since the establishment, the user wrote on its wall rarely, as it has updated not more than twice on the wall and a single comment, nothing more, while the most prominent activity was add some friends. But interestingly, many friends on this account were congratulating the user’s birthday two months ago, those are pals of religious courts mostly instead.

Badilag Will Create Pilot Religious Courts

“Badilag is asked by Planning Bureau of the Supreme Court to prepare some religious courts as pilot courts in Indonesia,” head sub division of program planning of Badilag, Sutarno said in a meeting, Monday (2/4/2012).

Wahyu Widiana, the Director General of the Religious Courts agreed with the idea. “It’s good that we would have some religious courts as model for others,” he said.

To support the idea, Badilag will create a guidance and standard. The pilot courts have to meet some criteria including case administration, general administration, human resources management, public service and room layout.

Hitherto, Badilag has not taken steps to choose the religious courts. But, it plans to prepare around ten religious courts as model. T .

Beware of Deceit in Judge Promotion and Mutation

Criminal deceiver gang has never stop seeking victims. A lady, female judge in South Sumatera were almost been their victim recently as she reported the circumstance to Badilag. It happened on Thursday (29/3/2012) when suddenly a man claimed named Slamet from Badilag called this lady by means of an office telephone number hus he asked her to call him to a sellular number 081282016608.

“So I soon called him to that number” said the lady who graduated from IAIN Raden Fatah to badilag.net. administrator. This two persons had a quite long chat focusing on reassignment program. She said that she were going to be assigned to her hometown court, the lady forwarded what the deceiver had promised her. But the promise wasn’t for free, for the next day, the man called her back and asked her to go to the automatic teller machine to transfer some cash through the saving account of Mrs. Rosni S.Sos, S.Pd. to arrange the reassignment.

This is the point where she started to suspicious, she found something odd, she said to the man across the telephone line that there were none named Slamet and Rosni, S.Sos, S.Pd. The  lady soon realized that she might be a victim of deception for there would not be someone titled S.Sos, S.Pd. at the Badilag.
