Fit and Proper Test for Court Leader Candidates

Badilag held fit and proper test for leader candidates of special courts class IA, in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/11/2012).

This fit and proper test was supposed to involve 35 candidates consisted of 16 Chief Judges of Religious Court class IA, 6 Vise Chief Judges of Religious Court class IA, and 13 Chief Judges of Religious Court class IB.

The special religious courts are spread in particular areas including Religious Court of Medan, RC of Palembang, RC of Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, North Jakarta, East Jakarta, West Jakarta, RC of Bandung, RC of Semarang, RC of Yogyakarta, RC of Surabaya, RC of Mataram, and RC of Makassar.

Various Issues of Religious Courts Were Discussed in the National Working Meeting

In the ballroom 2 of Peninsula Hotel Manado, on Tuesday (10/30/2012), participants of the Supreme Court National Working Meeting from the Religious Court circle were involved in a serious discussion. The discussion was moderated by Drs. H. Zainuddin Fajari, SH., MH. (the Chief of Bandarlampung High Religious Court).

The discussion was divided into two sessions. The First session was used to hear some explanations from the speakers. And the second one was used by the chiefs of High Religious Courts/Mahkamah Shariah to share their experiences, problems, and inputs.

Before the discussion, Vice Chief Justice for Non-Judicial Affairs, the Hon. DR. H. Ahmad Kamil, SH., M. Hum delivered an introductory speech. “In the previous National Working Meeting, our commission got a praise due to the complete datas and the discipline of the participants. The discussion was also qualified.” He said. And that was why he asked all the participants of the commission to maintain what they did last year.

SBY Has Signed Regulation on Judge Salary

The good news has come. SBY has signed the Regulation on Financial Rights and Facilities for Judge. Delivered this good news was the Chief Justice Hatta Ali during his speech in the closing ceremony of the National Annual Meeting of the Supreme Court in Manado, 2012-11-01.

“Alhamdulillah, our effort since the beginning of this year has engendered a tangible result,” said the Chief Justice who immediately greeted with applause by participants of the meeting. .

What programs proposed by Badilag next year were well explained by Purwosusilo, the Director of Technical Personnel of Badilag. He presented the programs in the capacity of the Director General of Badilag in front the Commission II Assembly on the Annual Meeting of the Supreme Court in Manado, Tuesday (30/10/2012)

Purwosusilo showed his breakthrough that Badilag will adopt time sheet application to monitor daily activities of every court personnel. He eagerly convinced this program will be effective in the early 2013. Through this application, Badilag will be able to monitor daily activities of court personnel in High Religious Court, while High Religious Court will be able to watch daily situation in Religious Court. .
