PTA (Pengadilan Tinggi Agama/High Religious Court) Gorontalo and all of its Religious Courts have lately been busy making every endeavor to exhibit respected and prestigious courts. Evident results of the simultaneous efforts on developing physical facilities, human resources, general administration, case administration and judicial affairs are beginning to show.

Supreme Court and AGO sign MoU on Supervision

Firm determination on law enforcement through creating clean and transparent courts has been shown by the Supreme Court and the Attorney General Office as the chairmen of the two offices signed Thursday (16/7) a Memorandum of Understanding on Supervision in Kusumah Atmadja room of Supreme Court Office, Jakarta.

The cooperation between the Supreme Court and AGO, mahkamahagung.go.id reported, is considered a milestone in eradicating corruption, collusion and nepotism in upholding law and justice.

The Director General of Badilag received Malaysian Terengganu Sharia Judicial Officials visit yesterday (14/7) at his office in Jakarta. The Chief Sharia judge of Terengganu, Y.A.A. Dato Ismail Bin Yahya said the objective of this visit was to share information on fostering and developing religious judicature and to discuss the most recent legal issues related to Moslem's life.

Badilag English Version Website Launched Today

To give the public a broad access to the religious judicature information, Directorate General of Religious Judicature Body (Ditgen Badilag) builds a website in English version. The soft launching was carried out by The Director General, Wahyu Widiana in Badilag Auditorium, Jakarta, today (13/7). 

 “The relationship between Badilag and international communities significantly increases in a variety of aspects , such as the relationship related to the publication of PTA’s judgments in AsianLII, the partnership between Badilag with Family Court of Australia, Legal Development Foundation (LDF), AusAID, MCC-ICCP, USAID, Asia Foundation, some international universities, International Association for Court Administrators (IACA), and so on. To support these partnerships, we need to provide a website in English version,” asserted Wahyu Widiana in his welcome speech on the launch. Attended by structural officials and staff of Ditgen Badilag, the soft launching was symbolized through “first click” on www.badilag.net/english/.

Directorate General of Religious Judicature Body has National Database of Judicial Cases

Directorate General of Religious Judicature Body now has a media to collect national data base of judicial cases through National Information Repository (NIR). NIR system is made to consolidate data and information taken from SIADPA (Case Management System of Religious Court). The objective of the establishment of National Information Repository is to support national report and statistics from all Religious Courts all over Indonesia.


NIR server is collecting data of judicial cases from SIADPA.

“It is about 234 of Religious Courts which is equal to 68.22 % that have applied SIADPA, but the data base is still on each work unit. Therefore, it is necessary to have a center of national data base of judicial cases, and now the media has been available”, stated chief sub-division of documentation and information, Asep Nursobah before handover ceremony of NIR from Bahtera Informatika, Ltd. to Directorate General of Religious Judicature Body (BADILAG). In this ceremony, BADILAG received NIR source code to directly integrate NIR with SIADPA.
